I followed someone last week. It wasn’t supposed to be exciting. He took the same route I usually take from the pedestrian bridge to the main square in Plovdiv. I just had to maintain a forced pace, and shy away from shops so I could keep up. It started when I saw him give change to a man with a dirty, empty candy box on the bridge, followed by a reaching-for-his-wallet for both the women that sell hand-picked garden flowers. I was curious to see if he would also show generosity to the beggars at the other end of the bridge. We ended up in the park a couple of kilometers from the bridge. I continued and he sat down.

I am in love.
She feeds herself better than many adults I know. Just look at the way she carefully tilts her bowl of soup to get the last spoonfuls.
She speaks French and Bulgarian, loves to read books about “bébés animaux”, sing songs, and eat Kiwi.

We visited my aunt’s friends for a holiday dinner and to meet baby Stefan who turns one on the 27th. The husband, Pencho, spent fifteen minutes telling us the story of their green Jeep stroller and how he surprised his wife with it. They are some of the sweetest people I’ve met here. The night ended with him surprising us with a giant inflatable snowman!
Now that’s what I call a man.
A tiger mother lost her cubs from premature labour. Shortly after she became depressed and her health declined, and she was diagnosed with depression. So they wrapped up piglets in tiger cloth, and gave them to the tiger. The tiger now loves these pigs and treats them like her babies.
super rad.
Recommended for Susan!
